RuneTalk meetup #8 and my thoughts
I had a busy weekend last week. From Monday to Wednesday, I attended CYBER_CON, a conference organized by the National Cyber and Information Security Agency. Although I felt a bit socially drained by the end of Wednesday, I still decided to go to RuneTalk, a local Kubernetes-focused meetup. To my surprise, I left the event feeling even more energized than when I arrived. In this article, I’d like to share my experience from the whole event with you.

My thoughts on Security Days 2023
Let’s be honest for a moment. There are just not enough local security events in the country I live in – Czech Republic. And by that I mean mainly the middle-size conferences. You know, the ones where you came and don’t get trumpled to death by the sheer amount of people there. Don’t get me wrong, I love these large venues, but sometimes I just want to attend an event with great talks, good refreshments and nice people. A place where I don’t have to shy away from approaching a person to start chatting. Luckily for me, there is always Security Days organized by Tietoevry.

Automating task creation in ToDoIst
I am a person who likes to have to-do lists to make sure that I stay on top of my activities and that I am moving them forward. In the past, I have tried a dozen various task management tools, but ultimately I have fallen in love with the one called ToDoIst. A pretty simple, yet powerful task manager. There are however some interactions that I don’t like which is why I have used my skills to fill in the holes (metaphorically speaking).
