October is behind the door and that means more cyber security events. In this article, I would like to go over some of them and invite you to join as well. Feel free to reach out if you attending any of those.
CyberUp 2024 (3. 10. 2024)
CyberUp is an interesting one-day conference that will be held in Košice, Slovakia. Organized by the seasoned Tietoevry team, we can expect interesting content as well as refreshing beverages and food. This is the premier for the event so I am really looking forward to it. And if you by any chances go to the event, feel free to drop by my talk named Shhh… that’s my secret, dude!

DevSecCon2024 (8. – 9. 9. 2024)
One of the events I’m most looking forward to is DevSecCon2024: Developing AI Trust. The event features multiple tracks, including AI Security, Open Source Security, Security Culture & Education, and sessions from Partner and Snyk. Given the high anticipation, there should also be a recording available. I’ve printed the entire schedule and highlighted the sessions I plan to watch, but I’m hoping to rewatch all of them later.

Kybernetická konference 2024 (22. 10. 2024)
CyberSecurityPlatform is hosting the cybersecurity conference of the year—Kybernetická konference 2024. Alongside experts from BUT, we can look forward to a full day of insightful talks. In the afternoon, there will also be a NIS2 meetup. The event includes a workshop for teachers on how to teach cybersecurity, and there’s even a CTF competition for attendees!

ŽENY V KYBER (30. 10. 2024)
Last year, Ženy v Kyber was one of the most interesting events. Our Czechitas students had a great time, and I’m excited that it’s happening again this year. The best part is that you don’t need to know how to code to get started in cybersecurity and there are cool non-technical jobs as well!
