👋 Hi, I am Hung

Using his tagline “Humorous Unique Nerdy Genius”, Hung is a cybersecurity engineer with an interest in application security. Hung is an active member of several communities and he leads the Czech chapter of DevSecCon Czechia. In February 2023, Hung became the second ever Czech person joining the ranks of Snyk Ambassadors, a group of application security champions that are increasing AppSec awareness and being active in their respective communities. At the end of 2023, Hung was nominated and won the prestegious DevSecOps Leadership award in the category of “Snyk Ambassador” of the year.

Throughout 2024, Hung started his speaking career and slowly moved towards creating a YouTube channel through which he is sharing his passion for cyber security and programming.

Hung is a pragmatic supporter of women in cyber security and women in tech. He is doing his part by lecturing courses at Czechitas, a Czech non-profit helping women to get into the tech world. Here he is joined by likeminded folks and provides his knowledge and skills to raise a new generation of cyber security professionals.

If he is not deep in cyber or programming, Hung enjoys spending time playing videogames (World of Warcraft and Stardew Valley are his all-time favorites), blogging or just hanging out with friends.
